Frequently asked questions

Everything travellers ask us before booking. If your question is not here, message us — a real person answers.

How do I book a tour?

Use Book Now: choose your activity, date, number of guests and pickup location, then send the request. You see the price before you send anything, and you can pay the deposit straight away by card or mobile money through our secure payment page.

When is my booking confirmed?

We check availability for your date and reply by email and WhatsApp, usually within a few hours. Your booking becomes confirmed once we have checked the date and received your deposit.

How much deposit do you ask for?

Thirty percent of the total confirms your date. The balance is settled on arrival in Zanzibar or before departure for safaris.

How can I pay?

Card and mobile money through our secure payment page, or bank transfer and cash on arrival if you prefer. Card details are only ever entered on the payment provider’s own page — we never ask for them by email or WhatsApp.

Which currency do you charge in?

All bookings are quoted and paid in US dollars. You can switch the website to euros to see an indicative price, but the amount on your confirmation is the dollar amount.

Where do you pick me up?

From your hotel or apartment anywhere on the main hotel coasts — Stone Town, Nungwi, Kendwa, Kiwengwa, Paje, Jambiani, Michamvi — and from the airport or ferry port. You give us the pickup location when you book and we confirm the exact time the evening before.

Can I change or cancel my date?

Yes, tell us as early as you can and we move your date whenever the operator has space. The cancellation and refund conditions for your specific tour are written in the itinerary we send you before you pay anything.

Are the tours suitable for children?

Most are. Life jackets in children's sizes are on every boat, and we quote children under twelve at seventy percent of the adult price. Tell us your children's ages and we advise honestly.

Which languages do you speak?

English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian and Kiswahili — through our guides and our travel assistant, Martin AI Travel.

Do I need insurance and a visa?

Travel insurance is your responsibility and we strongly recommend it. Most visitors need a Tanzanian visa, which you can obtain online before travel or on arrival — we tell you what applies to your passport.

Where do I see my booking after I send it?

Create an account with the same email address and open My Bookings. You will see your booking reference, status, payments received, balance due and your pre-arrival checklist.
